Division Role
1. Draft the decision, order, instruction and notification related to film activities to propose to the Department and Minister to approve.
2. Serve as the secretariat to examine the Film Business License for the Department.
3. Examine contents of all types of films as well as to translate and/or narrate in Lao language.
4. Study and consider for approving of the activities and business operation related to films.
5. Study and consider for approving the screening of cinema in the cinema theatre as well as the mobile cinema team.
6. Advocate, disseminate and distribute different types of films both in Laos and abroad.
7. Study and consider for approving the import-export of all types of films.
8. Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual summary activities of the Division.
